"Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale." A pre-wedding (engagement) shoot with Patrick Kok is a relaxed session for the two of you before your wedding day. Many couples also find it helps them feel comfortable in front of the camera before the big day.
Patrick is based in Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur. The sessions are romantic and unhurried, and couples often relive the early days of their relationship along the way. The result is a set of photographs you can keep for a lifetime.
Capturing Your Story and Emotions
We believe a great pre-wedding album depends on two things: telling your story as a couple, and capturing real emotion through the lens. The photographs should show who you are, how you started and where you are heading together. Many couples come to us with their own creative concepts, and we are happy to build the shoot around them.
Glamorous Themes
If you love a more elegant look, we can plan a glamorous shoot with grand locations, formal outfits and a sophisticated feel, set against beautiful landscapes or well-known landmarks.
Themed Shoots
We can also follow a theme you choose together, such as vintage, bohemian, travel or the roaring twenties, so the whole session carries the mood you have in mind.
Simple and Natural
Not sure which concept suits you? We will show you sample work to help you decide. If you already have a theme in mind, just share it with us and we will plan the shoot around it. As with all our work, we favour natural light and candid moments over stiff posing.
